Scholarship Program
Supporting students who have lost a parent in their pursuit of higher education.
The Brent Gordon Foundation is dedicated to honoring the resilience of individuals who have experienced the loss of a parent.
Experiencing the death of a parent at a young age can be a transformative experience that alters the trajectory of a child’s life. When a parent passes away, not only is their child left with the pain and grief of this death, but they’re also often left with less emotional support, reduced financial help, and limited mentorship, especially if the parent who passed was a single parent.
This scholarship seeks to support students who have experienced the loss of a parent but are continuing to push forward towards their goals.
Any high school senior, trade school student, or undergraduate student who has lost a parent may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
To apply, submit your application to Bold.org, tell us about your parent who passed away, and how losing them has made an impact on your journey in life so far.
